Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using the website or booking services with Tchakys Transportation LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By scheduling a ride or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Notice
Tchakys Transportation LLC provides non-emergency medical transportation services only. We are not an emergency service provider. If you or the passenger are experiencing a medical emergency, please dial 911 immediately.
2. Scheduling & Service Hours
- Our operational hours are Monday through Sunday, 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
- Rides must be scheduled in advance via phone, email, or our online booking form.
- Passengers are responsible for providing accurate pick-up times, addresses, and special assistance requirements (e.g., wheelchair ramp needs).
3. Pricing & Payment Terms
- All fares are flat, transparent, and confirmed with the customer prior to every trip based on distance zones (within 5 miles, 22 miles, or 28 miles) and mobility tier (Ambulatory, Senior, Wheelchair).
- Fares must be agreed upon prior to departure. Payment methods will be specified and confirmed during the ride booking process.
4. Passenger Conduct & Driver Assistance
- Every trip includes door-to-door driver assistance.
- Passengers and caregivers are expected to interact respectfully with our drivers and staff. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone demonstrating unsafe or abusive behavior.
5. Cancellations & Modifications
If you need to cancel or modify a scheduled trip (including recurring dialysis or chemotherapy rides), please notify us as early as possible by calling (978) 409-5440 so we can update our dispatch schedule.
6. Limitation of Liability
While Tchakys Transportation LLC makes every reasonable effort to arrive on time, we are not liable for delays caused by extreme weather, severe traffic conditions, road closures, or unforeseen vehicle issues beyond our control.
7. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
